How Autoresponders Turn Losers Into Winners
When you use autoresponders, you can say "good-bye" to losing money on advertising.
Used properly, autoresponders can turn every ad into a winner ... even if the ad
loses money!
Let me explaing:
Let's say you run an ad in your favorite ezine. The ad cost you $200. And let's
assume you made about $150 in sales from that ad. At first glance, it looks like
you just LOST $50 with this ad, right?
Well... if you ran your ad and directed responses directly to your sales
page, you did lose $50. Truth is... you actually lost a lot more than that.
We all know that you didn't make a sale to each and every person that
responded to your ad. In fact, I bet most of the people that visited your
site from the ad just looked around and didn't buy a thing. Maybe they
intended to come back later and buy but we both know that intentions
don't pay the bills. SALES is what counts, right?
So how do you turn this loser ad into a winner?
Instead of advertising directly for your ad, offer a free report on
something related to your offer. The idea is to bring visitors in
to your site. Freebies always work great for this and everyone
loves a good deal... especially a free deal.
Your free report can be about anything related to your offer.
The job of your ad is to generate LEADS.. not sales (at least not
right away). You want people to respond to your ad so that you
can capture their names and email addresseses in your Autoresponder
for future follow-up.
Using Autoresponders to follow up with those leads will give you the ability
to send them your sales message over and over again instead of hoping they
buy on their first visit to your site.
Some studies have shown tha it takes a prospect seeing your ad at least
7 times before they will make a purchase.
Marketing "guru" Jay Levinson puts the number at 27 times! No wonder
you see the same ads over and over again on television, magazines,
newspapers, etc...!
So let's get back to your ad. You run the same ad and you spend $200.
You get the same number of visitors and they subscribe to your Autoresponder.
They want to know more about your offer and now you can follow up with them
as many times as you want because you have captured their information.
Now let's assume that you sell that same $150 worth of whatever you
are offering. Because you are able to follow up with all the visitors
that gave you their information, you can expect to close even more sales
making even more money.
But it doesn't stop there. From that one ad, you have generated many
leads and now your Autoresponder can follow up with those leads over
and over again.
By finding, creating, or partnering with other offers that may be of
interest to this same list, you can generate even more profits from
these same prospects without having to spend more money on advertising!
Of course, I recommend that you continue to build your lists through
solid advertising and promotion.
Remember to offer information of value to your visitors so that they
will gladly give you their name and email address. It can be free
information, coupons, special offers, free downloads, etc...
Imagine how much better your profits will be when you can follow up
with your Autoresponder and sell to the same prospects over and over
again!
