How AutoResponders Can Help You Boost Sales:
|
Successful Email Marketing requires effective and efficient managment of your subscriber lists. Like a garden, proper attention can lead to very pleasant results. In this case: more sales.
Your TrafficWave.net AutoResponder includes a powerful management utility that you can use to sort and segment your subscriber lists for a variety of reasons. The most common reason to use this particular utility is to recycle those leads that have received your messages. The goal here is to simply restart your letter series and you would accomplish that as indicated in the step by step tutorial, "How Do I Recycle Leads?" found in your TrafficWave.net But suppose you want to go beyond basic recycling? Suppose you want to find a group of subscribers from a particular city or state for a local event or promotion. Or perhaps you want to recycle only those leads that finished your letter series a week ago? Perhaps you want to find those subscribers that have a birthday coming up next week. (Assuming you've collected that information from your subscribers when they registered.) All of these options and more are available in your TrafficWave.net AutoResponder. Let's look at an example of how you might select only those subscribers that received your last letters over 1 week ago. Here's how you would do that: Once you are logged in to the AutoResponder campaign you want to work with, you would place your mouse cursor over "Subscribers" and click "Manage Subscribers". The default option under "Search Criteria" is already set to "Subscriber" ... "is" ... "Active". We are going to change the "Active" option to "Finished Receiving Automated Followup Letters". Next, we click "Add Row" and we see a new set of pull-downs show up on the screen. We select "Last Letter Date" and then we select "is before" and then we click the calendar and select the date that is one week ago. Click "Update Search". Further down the screen, you will see the results of your search come up showing you how many subscribers have finished receiving your followup letters as of the date you selected. To recycle the entire group, just click "Recycle This Group". Select the letter you want them to start with. Click "Submit". To broadcast a message to this group, just click "Broadcast To This Group". Select the date and time you want the message to go out. Click "Broadcast Letter". This is just one example of how you can sort your subscriber information. Dependin on how much information you have gathered from your subscribers, you can sort by the date they subscribed, their birthday, their gender, their city or state, and/or any other custom information you may have gathered. |
